Highly effective cleaning
Pollutants in gases may consist of microscopically small droplets of
oily carbon hydrates, oil fumes, vulcanising smoke, silicones, aminos,
terpenes, dioxins, etc. These small droplets, so called aerosols, are
collected electrostatically in the RECO-LECTOR filter on collecting
plates after being electrically charged by passing through a corona
discharge.
Efficient charging is ensured through a well-balanced electric
current distribution. Collecting efficiencies for dust and aerosols up
to 99.9% can be achieved.

Operational reliability and easy maintenance
The unit RECO-LECTOR-D is constructed from modules each with
its own high voltage supply and individually withdraw-able cells.
This enables servicing and maintenance to be carried out without
operational stops and virtually the total cleaning performance is
maintained, even during servicing.
The efficient pollution shielded isolators contribute to the
high operational reliability.
Cleanable pre-filter stage
Volatile pollutants will condense to aerosols with the aid of
the condenser RECO-EX-A, as a pre-stage to the electrostatic
precipitator. A part of the aerosol will be collected already in
the condenser. Hereby a pre-filtration is achieved. |

The modular unit RECO-LECTOR can be adapted to
large variations in gasflow and load. Every cell is easily
accessible for service during operation. |

|
For viscous and sticky substances, the pre-filter effect of the
electrically charged aerosol, can be enhanced by using part of the
condenser as an automatically cleanable collector. This
enhancement of the pre-filter effect will reduce the total
maintenance requirement.
