Algorithms developed by us
The programs are tailored for individual project requirements, as well as
using our own pre-designed programs. These are based on process control
algorithms from our extensive experience in many projects, e.g. to minimise the
risk of corrosion in coolers and ducts.
For condensing with humidification the condenser plays an active part in the
function of the combustion plant. By humidifying the air and flue gas, flows
increase, pressure drops rise and the temperature in the combustion furnace
drops. By controlling the rotation speed, the humidification can be varied and
the combustion temperature optimised.
For plants without humidification, the control and automation system
primarily handles the start-up and shutdown procedure and supervises important
internal functions during operation. Such functions include the flow of cooling
water, flushing of cooler inlet and pH control of the condensate by adding Lye
or Lime. Furthermore the system reports operational parameters as pressure,
temperature and cooler effect.
