High filtering capacity

The automatic high capacity micro-sieve RECO-LW has been developed for the separation of pollutants, as particles and fibres. Due to it's high filtering efficiency, even at large flows, the RECO-LW can be used for a number of tasks, e.g. protection of heat exchanger, cost efficient filtering of discharged industrial effluent and as a coarse filter before a sand filter.

The filtering efficiency of the sieve is independent of external variable factors, such as flow velocity or pollution concentration. The standard version is equipped with a mesh -200 sieve made of acid proof stainless steel SS 2343, for separation of particles down to 40 mm. A large choice of filter media is available to meet specific demands, including filtering down to 20 mm.

Continual regeneration

The regeneration is based on a special combination of brushing and a pulsating back flushing with the filtrate. Up to 25 m2 filter surface per minute is regenerated, which gives a large filtering capacity even for liquid with high concentrations of particles or fibres.

The pressure difference required to force the liquid through the filter is small and is automatically adapted to the actual combination of pollutant concentration and flow.

Easy maintenance and large flexibility

In most drum sieves the filter media is either not changeable or fitted inconveniently on the inside of the drum. However, in the RECO-LW the mesh is fitted on the outside of the drum. Due to this feature and a quick fastening facility, the mesh can be changed in 5 minutes. This simplifies service and facilitates quick adaptation to different filtering demands.
