Optimal energy recovery
The flue gases from the combustion of Peat, Wood-chips, Waste and Gas
have a high energy content, mainly due to the latent heat in the water
vapour.
In the condenser RECO-Flue the flue gases are cooled so that the
latent heat from the water vapour can be utilised, as condensation
occurs. Through condensation an increase of 25% of the available energy
for e.g. District Heating can be acquired.
By further cooling the flue gases and humidifying the combustion air
in the rotary humidifier ROTO-FLUE, an increase in output of over 35%
calculated on the boiler output will be achieved. |

High Cleaning Capacity
Flue gases with low dust content can enter the condenser directly
without pre-collecting, whilst flue gases with high load of fly ash are
to be pre-cleaned with such equipment as multi-cyclones
Condensation will clean the flue gases further, so that the emission
of fly ash is reduced by between 40-90% and that of Mercury and Hydrogen
Chloride with circa 90% and 98% respectively.
By the dosing of Lye to the circulating condensate, the SO2 content
can also be reduced considerably. |

Corrosion resistant design
The extremely high corrosive environment that occurs when cooling
flue gases sets very high demand on correct choice of material and
suitable design of the condenser. Particularly exposed to corrosion are
the parts of the condenser which first come into contact with the flue
gases. The RECO-FLUE design allows it to be made in very corrosion
resistant materials.
Radscan Intervex have a specialised knowledge in corrosion technology
with experience from many installations. This has contributed to making
RECO-FLUE a versatile product that ensures problem free operation and
maximum life span. |
